2023 NBA Playoff Thread

I don't know why the hell I have this Heat trophy pic as my avatar. Maybe because I rarely be on here nowadays and just left it alone. If I could find a paper bag with the Heat logo on it, I'll rock that. What a s***show of a season. Should've won the chip in 2020. Now Jimmy Butler's tenure is wasted. How embarrassing.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers won the ship this year, considering how they trade raped all those teams at the trade deadline.

Pretty much just gave up Russ and Bev and trash for D'Russell, Vanderbilt, Beasley, and Rui.

Wow, Imagine the Bucks get eliminated in the 1st round.... against A 8 seed! What a collapse. They need to win 3 games in a row now.

As much as I want to laugh at Milwaukee, too bad the Lakers are stealing the show.

Grizzlies/Dillon Brooks are f***ing dirt. Just one more loss and they're gone 😃🤭🤣.

Im not surprised that the Lakers are about to eliminate Memphis. They are frauds

Grizzlies are so much frauds, as they are just extremely undermanned and young.

Memphis has a lot of trouble closing games, especially against good teams. They are the 5th youngest team in the NBA right now, and when you take into consideration that Steven Adams is out for the season, and Ja, JJJ, Bane and Tillman are all under the age of 25...it's not really difficult to see why.

This team lost Adams (which is a big loss), Brandon Clarke (also huge), and is going up against a team with tons of experience.

I don't think anyone really came in thinking that the Grizzlies were going to knock off the Lakers.

The Grizz I think are still a year or two away from becoming a true force, and I'd imagine that they'll look to make a move one of these off-seasons to try and bring in a legitimate big man to go alongside JJJ, and/or another legitimate scorer to take the load off of Ja and Bane.

I've got Lakers in 5.

The Lakers have probably one of the easiest playoff schedules in recent memory, in regard to making it to the Conference Finals.

  • Lakers should easily dispatch the Grizzlies.
  • Lakers will likely easily dispatch the Warriors once they beat SAC.

I don't believe the Lakers will really be tested until they get to the Conference Finals and meet Phoenix or LAC.

The 4 teams that I believe the Lakers are going to have a difficult time with are PHO, LAC, BOS and PHI. All 4 of those teams have FULL rosters, and multiple players who can guard both LeBron and AD. And I imagine that even if the Lakers somehow beat those teams (when the time comes), those series will be going 7 games.

So no chance at all for the Nuggets and the Kings in the West; no #1 and #3 seeds with home court advantage?

If we see Kings vs Lakers it will be interesting to see if old age LeBron  can keep up with the  speedy Kings. Plus, the Lakers will not have the size advantage against the Kings

Btw, the Clippers are done this season. No Kawhi and no George = early vacation

Clippers are always done, every season. Never should have moved here. Horrible owner moved his clown show to L.A. in the middle of the Magic/Kareem/Worthy/Riley Showtime era.

First, don't do that.

To be fair, most teams are done at some point every season.

I can't believe the Heat are about to play these losers from bumblef*** New York next! Pinch me, I must be dreaming.

The Losers think they actually have a chance... LOL!  I love free trips to the ECF.  Buckle up!

Sac definitely choked during game 7. Wtf were you even doing letting a bunch of crybabies out Offensive rounded you. Just WTF. You F’n deserved to stay your a** at home. Sabonis was horrible. Not even on the same level as the bench backups. Another case of good in fantasy but crappy irl.
