Does this dude start this season? I think he gets those minutes Miles instead of PJ Washington. Either way, he has a good shot at having a sneaky good season.

Unlikely I think they'll go Ball, Rozier, Hayward, PJ and Plumlee. Will be interesting to see which one of Oubre, Martin, McDaniels is first off the bench

He is set up just like last season, but will he get the same INJ help ahead of him on depth chart to unlock his inner "beast?" That's the risk-reward right there.

Hayward is already injured, just a minor knee contusion but still.

Is it actionable in your rankings? It's not in mine. His contributions in category leagues (roto specifically) are good but limited in terms of category breadth. In other words I view him as a specialist for points and threes... only for teams with very good shooting in both %s because he will deal a hit in those. I prefer my specialists to have more plusses and/or fewer minuses.

Yeah he's a points/3s specialist and hurts in both %s like you said more suitable for H2H leagues. There's still hope for better ft% (couple seasons of 80%+ in his career on more attempts) FWIW he was in the top 100 last season in total game value last season. I think he's being drafted past the 110-120 range in drafts so there's some value there with more consistent playing time available this season.

I think Oubre will still get plenty of minutes without Miles, likely with second unit

Well Miles is long gone and yes Oubre has seen a lot of minutes. My question was if Lamelo would actually help his game like he did with Miles?

Yes really nice. Then maybe he can creep into top 75. The %’s has always been the biggest bust in his game

LaMelo is a good passer and penetrator drawing defenses. Will be on Oubre to make the open shots.
