He actually currently has a injury tag which is interesting because I don't know that he's currently injured but it is causing him to drop in drafts.

he played 67 games last season. is he injured during offseason??

He had another operation on his left leg. But that was in May though. He's fine now it seems.

Questionable for the opener. (Injury load management) Wonderful news game 1 of the season.

But it may be reaching a point to where its mandatory to handcuff him with Dosunmu. Better be safe than sorry.

Owned Lavine last year & it wasn’t fun  but he fell in my draft so I felt compelled to take him. Passed on guys like Fox & Shai. This is really annoying, we haven’t played a damn game this year llol.

I avoided him this season. It's pretty clear DeRozan is the MJ and Lavine is the Pippen on this team.

Oh I get it but a 1 one legged Lavine averaged almost 25 a game last year with Derozen popping off nightly.

Well that's not a reason to avoid him. Pippen would have been awesome in fantasy lol.

Now if you said you were avoiding him because he now has a pretty gloomy knee injury history (torn ACL a few years back now whatever last year was) I can get on board.

Very concerning

What does resting 4 days do here?  I don’t understand this at all.

A back to back starting on Friday so sit him first 2 games so he avoids the back-back?? Weird

Id guess there is potentially something more serious going on here. Just a guess though.

Something seems odd. Load management at the beginning of the season?

Forget about b2b games, Bulls have 15 of them this year. Guy is 27.

It's either that, or they wish to protect him as much as possible, being overly cautious. But hey, he played 3 preseason games, ranging 17-24 mins.

Via NBC Sports

“While LaVine reported feeling well physically in Bulls training camp, he told reporters in Miami that he has not suffered a setback and reiterated that this is a part of managing the ailment.

He also told reporters on Wednesday that his status for this Friday's game at the Washington Wizards is not yet decided. That game marks the front end of a road-home back-to-back that concludes with the Bulls' home opener against the Cavaliers on Saturday.”

Goddamnit. First time Lavine owner here and I couldn't pass up on him by the time it was my time to pick (Zion and Shai were my initial targets but they got taken before me). This already feels way too fishy for my liking.
