May the best team win. And that would be your Miami Heat. Thanks for playing folks.

Heat vs Raptors will be a good series (assuming Heat does not play Nets in rd 1)

Precious will make series winning 3pm in game 6

East

Celtics vs Bucks (Bucks in 6), Heat vs Raptors ( Raptors in 6)

Bucks in 5 against Raptors (Giannis enters GOAT conversations after this series)

West

Clippers and Wolves will make the playoffs

Clippers will win 1st round matchup (either Suns or Grizzlies are eliminated)

Rd 2 - Clippers, Dallas, GSW, one of Suns/Grizzlies

Dallas wins West and loses in 5, Giannis wins every postseason award available

What do you say?

As long as it's not the Hated Green Ones or the Clippers, everything else is gravy. I'm with you in pulling for the Grizz though.

It's hard to see someone stopping the suns. Although a untimely CP3 injury could change that. Injuries always play a big factor. I thought Giannis was done after that scary injury but the dude is really a greek god.

Ever since the Robinson / Strus lineup change, they’re back on the course.

I don’t trust teams without a top 5/borderline top 5 player in the playoffs. Let alone teams without a top 10 player.

We see every year some team with a lot of depth kill the regular season and it’s always fairly clear they aren’t going to contend. Teams like Bud Hawks, some recent Jazz teams, Raptors after Kawhi, etc.

ur not wrong. not 1 champion in atleast the last 20 year years without a top 5ish player.

2004 Pistons are the last one without top 5ish player.  Pistons starting five were all really good and they all played  ridiculous minutes in the playoffs. Hamilton and BenWallace  averaged 40+  minutes, Billups 38+, Prince and R. Wallace averaged "only "  34+ minutes

I am trying to imagine  Butler playing 40+ minutes for 20+ games...

Correct. Pistons are the only team in even remote recent years to win without having a top tier player.

Giannis, Jokic, Embiid, Curry, and KD. I’d be willing to bet one of those guys walks away with a ring. Not Jokic because the Nuggets are riddled with injuries.

Of course also throw in the Suns and they’re a rare exception because they have two players around top 10 and absurd depth.

a case can be made for curry, kawhi, luka, and probably lbj if all are healthy.

Agree about Curry, Kawhi, Luka. The case could be made for each of them, in the end it comes down to personal preferences.

Jokic alone  carried Nuggets to the playoffs. Luka took   Dallas to 4th best record in the West.

LBJ took Lakers to 33-49 record and missed play in tournament to the tanking Spurs.

LBJ  should not be mentioned as top 5 player in the NBA in 2021-2022
