Ryan Pepiot (LAD) keeps rolling in AAA, last night went 5IP 3H 0R 3BB 8K.

Was just about to say this. Definitely someone to add to the watch list!

Joey Wiemer with a HR in his first AB tonight--off Taj Bradley.

Brewers also moved 1st Rd pick Sal Frelick up to AA. Now have an OF of Frelick/Mitchell/Wiemer there in Biloxi.

Luis Garcia (WAS) 2 for 4 today and no errors at SS. .344 AVG and 1.004 OPS (162 wRC+ before this game)... only a matter of time before he's called up. Alcides Escobar (current Nats SS) sporting a nice .209/.274/.239 (54 wRC+). Surprised they're taking this long calling Garcia up...

Miguel Vargas (LAD) starting to heat up again. On base 14 of last 18 at bats. Only 3 homers and 3 doubles in April. Not striking out a ton. His K/BB ratio is 20/17 thus far. 19 of his 24 games started have been at 3B. Dabbled at 1st and 2nd the other few.

i'm not very keen on the dodgers lineup situation, but with mainstays like betts (looking healthy this year), turner, freeman, etc, where does he play?

is he a legit 3B that can steal time from justin turner?

Vargas long term yes, but this year I agree, I am not sure where he finds AB's barring injury

Doesn’t seem to be a natural with the glove. His bat is his meal ticket. Fielding percentage has been improving recently. I think he’s their DH for the next decade.

Random question...Does anyone know of an app where you can choose players to follow and get alerts/updates/news for certain MILB players daily?

10 years ago there were firstinning.com

right now there's none. Kind of want to develop it and sell it; but having access to the MILB database is waaaaaay expensive.

Yeah it stinks how difficult it can be. It could be my browser, but I can't even bookmark players on MiLB.com anymore. No more baseballfarm.com either

BA used to have a daily prospects reports, and maybe still do...just not sure if it is subscriber only?
