busterbeats
Luis Garcia (WAS) 2 for 4 today and no errors at SS. .344 AVG and 1.004 OPS (162 wRC+ before this game)... only a matter of time before he's called up. Alcides Escobar (current Nats SS) sporting a nice .209/.274/.239 (54 wRC+). Surprised they're taking this long calling Garcia up...
bluntbros
Miguel Vargas (LAD) starting to heat up again. On base 14 of last 18 at bats. Only 3 homers and 3 doubles in April. Not striking out a ton. His K/BB ratio is 20/17 thus far. 19 of his 24 games started have been at 3B. Dabbled at 1st and 2nd the other few.

Vargas long term yes, but this year I agree, I am not sure where he finds AB's barring injury

Doesn’t seem to be a natural with the glove. His bat is his meal ticket. Fielding percentage has been improving recently. I think he’s their DH for the next decade.

Kind of want to develop it and sell it; but having access to the MILB database is waaaaaay expensive.

Yeah it stinks how difficult it can be. It could be my browser, but I can't even bookmark players on MiLB.com anymore. No more baseballfarm.com either BA used to have a daily prospects reports, and maybe still do...just not sure if it is subscriber only? 7 hours ago, Italian_guy said: 10 years ago there were firstinning.com right now there's none.
