Gile Pile
Am I the only one who is annoyed with enable adds pop up on nbcsportsedge? It made the opposite effect after seeing it every time I visit site, now I will never disable my add blocker. An option "Maybe later" and show popup again in a week would be nice. Gile Pile
Quote Thank you for contacting Rotoworld Support. We apologize for any inconvenience. You should be able to turn off ads on your browser that way you do not get a message on our site to do so. Please reach out if you need further assistance. Thanks, Youssef NBC Sports Edge Support Above is the response from RW support. English is not my first language, so I would appreciate if native speakers can explain to me what this sentence means: "You should be able to turn off ads on your browser that way you do not get a message on our site to do so. kball09
This site has gone to utter garbage ever since NBC bought it. I still use the updates and the forums, but the articles and content are trash and constant upsells. Now that I have to deal with the pop-ups every page I'll likely be going to Rotowire or elsewhere for updates. I can only click "continue without supporting" so many times..... 3
Nishinga
Btw, pro tip to get rid of this annoying crap without turning off your ad-block: Right click the anti ad-block pop-up and choose 'block element' mark the anti ad-block pop up and choose 'create', mark again the whole page to get rid of the blocking overlay and block this element as well - referesh and bye bye pop-up (this option is available with uBlock Origin, so if you are using another ad-block that doesn't offer this - ignore my advice or switch). Apperently in uBlock Origin there is a feature that you can activate to block pop-ups, just click the uBlock application and inside it click at the button with the double windows sign, it works even better than blocking elements which can mess the page for some users. RotoMaster
This site has been going downhill for a while but this might be the last straw. Eff your ads and obnoxious overlays. Time to find another site. 1
magic32
That is absolutely insane. I normally NEVER disable my adblocker, but for once, I actually did to try to get rid of that insanely annoying banner and that **** STILL always pops up!!! It makes me never want to use this site anymore and I am looking for alternatives, unfortunately there aren't too many great ones, but Rotoworld, NBC or whoever the hell runs these sites better get their act together and quickly, otherwise they will lose a massive amount of their users. Get rid of it NOW. If anyone knows good alternative to rotoworld, please post it, I am just about done with them after this bullshit.

I did that a few days ago with uBlock and yes, it got rid of the ads, BUT it makes the entire page mess up where it doesn't load the way it should and is missing a bunch of stuff and I know i did it correctly.
