The same thing happened to Melvin Gordon (hip(?) injury) on a fumble recovery last year and Andy Dalton (Broken hand(?)) on a interception two years ago. If the injunction is set aside the only question really would be if he'd start it that very week or the week after.

This can also happen when your offense is so bad that they cant let your defense take a breather. The Lions dominated time of possession but the Giants kept the running game in check until the final 2-3 minutes. The Giants defense is good. Make no mistake. They just can’t cover tight ends right now. Zeke crapped the bed last week. Bell crapped the bed in Week 1. It happens. Im confident they will scheme Zeke the ball in a better manner this week. IF NOT, then yeah. Panic time.
Wahlee
zeke will be fine, might have the numbers like last year but over all should be in the top 5 by end of year
Luck My Balls
Just traded for him.. With this news coming out im kind of worried. What are the chances he gets suspended at some point this season??
dakimbell
GUys had one bad game in his 19 game career. R-E-L-A-X he played like Erick Dampier, but fully confident he will be eating aplenty next week.
kmoore1521
guess the moderators deleted the giant zeke thread since i cant find it BUT Ezekiel Elliott admits he showed a lack of effort on two carries against the Broncos. Elliott agreed with LaDainian Tomlinson's criticism. "I would say I was just very frustrated, but that's no excuse for the lack of effort I showed on tape," Elliott said. "I just can't do that. Being one of the leaders on the team and being a guy that people count on, I can't put that type of stuff on film." Well if you got zeke this week your about to win this dude is gonna go OFF after admitting he lacked effort

TennisMenace
Zeke's first several games were expected to be difficult, so I actually didn't mind him getting suspended for those six. After last week and probably this week, I may regret playing him over Cohen.
CyberneticGhostOfXMasPast
Is this suspension still a possibility!? What a joke
CurlyDumps
Anyone got a clue who Zeke's handcuff is? McFadden or Morris?

frog34
It's so obvious they don't want to expose Mr Glass DMC to injury. Since suspension is still a possibility for Zeke, I think the Boys want a fresh DMC leading their rushing attack should Zeke miss time. Morris is maybe solid to grind the clock, but won't win you games which a healthy DMC can do. If it wasn't for Zeke's possible suspension, I wouldn't roster a handcuff though. Hopefully we know soon...
griffin727
I'm pretty optimistic Zeke plays the whole year. Just seems like that is the likeliest scenario since the initial ruling, regardless of the recent reports.

Ffguy0087
McFadden or Morris. Or neither? Ugh. That situation was supposed to be so clear. Not so much anymore...
Euphonetics
The Fifth circuit set the stay motion for oral argument on October 2nd. Not a great development for Zeke. Edited September 22, 2017 by Euphonetics

Pigskingpin
I picked up McFadden just in case but I'm just happy that in 2 weeks time this will be officially settled for this season once and for all.

Not entirely. They may hear just the stay and set an expedited briefing schedule for the actual appeal of the injunction, but we should have a pretty definite idea of what happens. tpat30
Thought the judge just denied the NFL's whatever it was....so this thing is going to court, probably next year. Ezekiel Elliott should be good for the 2017 season. McFadden will be the man if Elliott goes down.
