GBPig99
So a friend and I were talking about FFB tonight(we do every night) and we realized we weren't an any Auction leagues. So we got to talking about it and as a joke I mentioned we should do an auction league with real money! Well being broke we didn't take this seriously but I started wondering if this has been done. Have any of you ever heard of anyone doing this or is it even plausible?
Winky
Without a salary cap this type of draft is a really, really bad idea. They guy with the most money would have LT, Stephen Jackson, Gore, LJ, Addai, and Westbrook. Not to mention Johnson, Harrison, Wayne, Owens, Holt, Manning, Palmer, Brees, Gates, Ravens and Chicago's defense... and the Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleaders. Just make sure you are not in a league with George Steinbrenner or Mark Cuban.
carelesschild
at work we did an auction for our ncaa basketball pool.one of the senior brokers put $2000 on florida and the next highest was carolina at $300.every other team was $100 or less.so i agree without some sort of cap it would be tough ,but i love your thinking outside the box.
