King Gonzo
Some dude just announced his 4 keepers in ony of my leagues and he is keeping MIAMI DEF. Its a 3 sport keeper and league was pretty crummy in baseball as I am running away and this appears to be no different. Should I bail now or stick it out for football? AngryBeavers
Is there $ to be won? If so, stick around and clean up!

hoffmankidd
LOL. never even heard of or thought about keeping a DEF before. and i had Chicago last year who won me multiple games. if no $ is involved i'd bounce.. they obviously don't take it serious. rotoking07
You could take this opportunity to teach some fools. Just be careful about referring them here, b/c they very well may give you a run for your money this year.
mceclipse02
I've never dropped out of a league. I hate quitters and I'd hate to be a hypocrite!

j-dubb
no money involved - put a team together, compete, but join another league to take up your time. I'm not saying don't try in this league, cause you would be one of them, but just don't spend a whole lot of time looking at it. Then let the commish know this is your last year. qzqzqz
I have friends in a 14 team keeper league that starts 2 QBs. One guy took over a team that had finished 4th, and he kept Alex Smith and didn't draft a second QB until round 11, Charlie Frye. Who does he draft at RB?, Warick Dunn and Ruben Droughns. Is MIA DEF the best of the leftovers? I can't say keeping a DEF is smart, but if he's really got no other choice - then he'd have to keep them right? Timmah!
yeah, when it comes to keepers, it can be relative. example: my keepers this year are going to be: Bulger, Gore, SJax, Housh, Colston and J. Walker. the last place team?: thanks to a couple of recent deals, he'll likely keep: Roethlisberger, F. Taylor, Betts, Cotchery, Stallworth and quite possibly, LB Adalius Thomas. his team sucks that much. i wouldn't quit, but i do agree with the idea of joining another league to keep your interest. You need to leave then.........Burress is the only one of the four that don't have some form of injury problem/issue right now. Edge's OLine sucks azz, McNabb is coming back from a torn ACL and DJax just can't seem to stay healthy. But with all of that said, I'd keep any of those minus DJax over MIA DEF. Gotta go!
